Saw 'In the Bedroom' Saturday night...good movie but not the most cheerful movie in the world...
Do you have a favorite 'dark' movie?

It's definitely a very somber and dark movie...
The saddest movie for me is My Life...it doesn't depress me, kinda just reminds me to get out there and live! But yes, I cry like a baby everytime...

I couldn't decide between Schindler's List and Saving Private Ryan. Then I remembered the closing scene of Schindler's List.

Trip to Bountiful
it's so frustrating to watch, a little old lady is tyrannized by the daughter-in-law, tries to escape and catch a bus to her hometown....so many obstacles in the way.......and not the ending you want.

1.
i don't think i'd call it a favorite movie - acting is good but what a downer.
I Am Sam was really sad to me, but not devastatingly so, like Sophie's Choice.

Schindler's List, the ending scene says it all.
