I know what you all are saying, you shouldn't really compare them since a triangle is percussion and a kazoo is a wind instrument, but let's do it anyway.......

Triangles are more useless - The kazoo part in The Jimi Hendrix Experience's "Crosstown Traffic" is awesome and besides Kazoos can double as pipes.

Any instrument that uses a reed is useless imo. Brass and percussion all the way! So that means I'm going with the Kazoo as being worthless.

Au contraire. The kazoo is a great thing to have in the car. I frequently play Name That Tune with the Goettes using a kazoo, and it makes them laugh b/c often people in the next car look over and see me and smile (and probably determine that I'm nuts). Fun for all.
Try, just try, creating all that merriment with a triangle.
