Hey, this is my first post on runningforums. Thanks to purple hayes for posting about this forum on bikeforums.com, my main 'haunt'. This looks like a great place to further my education about running. I've only recently gotten attached to the sport -- this past April. I hope you don't mind putting up with another newbie!  |

i really like 5.
i want to start increasing mileage to where i can go 10 once a week.

1/2 hour.....I don't usually race under the 5 mile distance....and the day before a race is usually the only day I don't do at least 7 miles..so if I lace up I'll run a verrrrrrrrrrry slow 3 1/2-4 miles Which is usually the day before a marathon or a race I'm nervous about. Tomorrow, I have a 5k and I really nervous (been over a year).....I didn't run at all!
