This is true. Andy's a good guy. Spent good part of a day with him and MW on my trip to Maine last year. They served as my fashion co-ordinators when we hit the New Balance factory - I need all the co-ordination I can get.

He wore those tights to running group on Saturday. We were supposed to wear "bright" clothing. There were several people with red and green, santa hats, santa legwarmers, and garland too. PH could have worn his famous shirt.

Did he insist they were purple, specifically "Viking purple", despite them clearly being blue?

Yes, but they looked kinda purple to me. We picked on a guy who thought he was wearing green when it was Teal.
