I was just looking at the Vancouver Marathon, but that is too close to two other races I'm doing.
So, Katzoo is right, you can never be too far.

just watch out for Andydp, the postal worker, we know their reps. |
Well, you could ask elkid, Runs Like a girl, Maddie's Wench, Ranger G, Gretriever, MickeyVW and a few others what I'm like. They have been appropriately bribed to say good things.

PH and I will be meeting in February for the very first Upper Management Riff Raff Convention. It's scheduled in a corner of Starbucks and I'm thinking that the authorities will somehow be called...

1. You will eat breakfast with me at 4am.
2. You will run a race infinitely faster than me.
3. You will buy me my first beer that night to apologize for beating me by so much.
I've met more RRers than anyone. Some have disappointed me in person, but almost all were great, fun, intelligent people. A lot nicer than those on the quilting forums.

Funny, I don't remember meeting you.
BTW - That's a mighty condescending thing to write, no?

I was just thinking that same thing. To each his own......I've never met a Riff Raffer or Cool Runner that wasn't pretty much the same person here as they are in person also. I'll leave it up to individual interpretation as to whether that's always a good thing or not.
I have talked to PH however, and was not disappointed in his Hee Haw accent one bit....

I think it's stories like these that keep RR's from visiting our lone Missouri resident. Except for Poky, but I was wondering why I had to use plastic silverware and drink my beer out of a paper cup.
