was gonna ask where is TX.....but when I saw the c*&*^ss, I knew the general area. Hubby used to moonlight in Palestine and I could not understand a word the locals said. My family would ask, "because of the slow TX drawl".......and I'd be "no, that I've come to understand....eastern Texans talk like like got sh*^ in their mouths". I could understand the Mexicans in San Antonio better and I don't know any Spanish!

... It's a term for a back woods bayou person from Louisiana/Texas border area... It's a term they call themselves proudly...if you call them one, ya better be smiling.
