At school, Kindergarteners and 1st graders will often call me MRS. Clark and I don't bother to correct them. Every teacher they have known is a Mrs. They are getting the respect right, the actual terms can come later.

It's the kilt that has them confused.

Mrs. Clark has hairy legs. Mr. Green

WELL! I had myself convinced to wear the kilt around St. Patrick's Day and teach a lesson about Ireland and its music...... Now you've got me paranoid (wasn't a far trip)

They dont call me anything yet, no friends have come over yet. Kids in the neighborhood though just call me Joe which is alright with me. Probably when the kids start having friends over it will be Mr.

When my kid's friends do get up the nerve to address me, they call me Mr. Hendricks. For whatever reason, I've got a reputation of being mean and for the most part kids avoid me like the plague.

Do you look at them like this?

LE,

Actually, my dad is Larry, I'm Brad.

As for your question, we're due Sept 3. I'm finding it (tragically) ironic, that in 17 years of National Guard, I'm at the highest probability of getting mobilized when I'm finally settled down with wife and soon to be child. There is no justice in this world....course I haven't gotten any orders yet, so cross yer fingers.

Most of our friends kids call us by our first names, although a few use aunty and uncle as well. It seems to depend on how their parents refer to us.
