Playmobile..around 1960...it was the dashboard part of a car with the steering wheel etc.... I got it....loved it!
G.I. Joe (the original ones) Navy Diver...with the canvas suit and brass (plastic) helmet. I got it....loved it too!
That's all that stands out in my ever shrinking memory....

All I remember is that the year I got my Daisy lever action BB gun I was the happiest kid in the country.... and although I never shot my eye out like Ralphie I did have a BB ricochet off of a plastic bottle and end up in my nostril of all places..... my cousin was most impressed when after hopping around in pain for a few seconds I produced that BB from my nose.

A drum set. I never got it. My family talk about it every year. Just wait until I get my nephew (who lives with my parents &me) a set........that will get them back for never getting my a set..

I wanted a stethoscope. Never got it.
I wanted a chemistry set. You know, where you can blow stuff up! Never got it.
Although, the fondest memories I had was stuff that I never asked for but was cool anyway.
I will ALWAYS bermember my 9th birthday. Got the Beatles Rubber Soul.
