I got to go on an incentive ride this weekend on a KC-10. What was so cool, is we got to see an air-to-air refueling mission of a C-5. I got a little air-sick because there were no windows and the sensations were very odd when there was no visual to accompany them. It was a great time, though.
So, I got a view similar to this one (except it was a C-5, a huge cargo plane)

The fact that wives/spouses don't usually get to see this view. Very rarely do we get to even ride in military aircraft, so to see it in action is uber-cool in my book. It was a very special invitation. At least in my book. BC has only gotten to see this once before and he is active duty.
I love flying and military aircraft is tops on my list!

my son would give his left earlobe for a ride like that--well maybe not the whole earlobe but dang that is too cool.
i'd have hurled all over everything so good for you for hangin' in there.
i imagine the sensations would have done me in almost immediately

After what you did to the A-10 Warthog, I am surprised they let you fly again.
