I really do know how to talk to/subtly flirt with the opposite sex succesfully!
I have never been confident whatsoever in talking/flirting with someone in fear of rejection/sounding like a moron/lack of interest...
But i don't know what came over me Thurs/Fri night. It was like a switch turned on! I felt this slight amount of confidence and that it really is ok if someone isn't interested in me, if I don't try how do i know?? (does this mean i'm actually starting to feel comfortable in my own skin?)
So to make a long story shorter - I had 2 people ask for my phone number. One on Thursday, One on Friday... thats 2 more then EVER! Both are very nice guys, one doesn't live here but i think it would be great to have someone to talk to once in a while.

I remember, long long ago, in my single days, there would be long stretches of absolutely no romantic interest, and then it would be more than one at a time!
Good for you, you should be confident in yourself.
Now, we need to ask you some questions about Team in Training before you leave town...

You need to read this thread
http://runningforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=37316
She mentions Team N Training in her rebuttal:
""Even though this has been the bypass route utilized by Leukemia Team-in-Training for their slowest participants in order to let them finish their own race . . . and even though it's impossible to 'cheat' when your chip time tells the tale of missing the total distance, there are people in the running community who feel some of our runners and walkers did not earn the medals we so proudly wore that Sunday evening," she wrote."

Oh yeah, I read that!
There is no way I would do that... There is no way any of our trainers would even encourage us to do that, i think that is so awful! if you cheat to do a full marathon - you shouldn't enter into a full marathon. There are always shorter options to do...
IMHO...

See ? I knew you could do it !!!
The easiest way to meet people and have them interested in YOU is to show an interest in THEM.
Keep up the good work !!
