Posted: 12/30/05 - 19:49 Post subject: What Birthday presents should I ask for?
That's what my hubby wants to know. I already told him it's too late, nothing he could order would be here for my birthday.
I don't even know what I want.
I would like a Garmin 301, but the 305 is coming out in February.
I'm planning on a massage around my birthday anyways. Maybe he could call the local spa and get me a gift certificate for a facial/manicure. The feet just aren't worth it right now.
I already told him I wanted a subscription to Oxygen Magazine. I already get Ultra Running and Marathons and Beyond.
I just bought myself some gaiters and wool socks.
What would be a cool present for a 40th birthday?
(We were supposed to be in the Caribbean this week for my 40th, except for the dying dog. Who actually felt good enough to corner a raccoon today and had to be dragged away from the raccoon. )

I recommend a dairy queen ice cream cake. I'd turn 30 all over again just to get another.

Going someplace sounds good but I guess you can't unless you take the dogs. What is the difference in the Garmin 301 n 305?

I already told him I want a chocolate cake with chocolate icing. And ice cream. I don't care how he gets it, I better get a cake.

go out for dinner, get the massage and subscription -- those are great ideas. but i'd have him give you a "raincheck" for the new garmin thing that's coming out in february. if you're really into those, that would be perfect and worth the wait. i'm sure you'd make great use of it.

All great ideas, esp. the new garmin. Can he preorder it for you somewhere?
