When I had mine (3) taken out, that's exactly what I was supposed to do once the pain pills were used up. Worked terrific.
Hope your experience is as pain-free as possible.

Get 2 packs of frozen peas and a hooded sweatshirt. When you get home, put the frozen peas (in their package still frozen) against either cheek and pull the hood up on the sweat shirt. The peas mold to your face, the hood just keeps you from having to hold them there. Then take your pain meds and sleep propped up on some pillows so your head is raised. That should help some of the swelling/bruising. OH, and have Keith take your picture during all this, that REALLY reduces swelling (no really, the peas/sweatshirt thing worked really well for me)

I'm back! I got the "laughing gas" this time so it wasn't quite as bad. Now all I gotta do is let it heal. Thanks for all the well wishes!
