Katrina turned around and hit the Keys last night. It's still hitting us, but not so bad here. From Marathon to Key West there is a lot of damage, and no one posted any evacuation warnings. It took a southward turn, and is moving slowly, picking up intensity over the water. I just hope it doesn't swing around and hit the Keys again. The meteorologists say that won't happen, but the also did not think that this storm would swing south, either.
One of my palms is uprooted (a small one) we have tree branches down, and power lines down.
