Congratulations! I've wanted to own my own gym for awhile, but none of the one's around here stay in business very long.  Let me in on your secret because I'm sure your's is here to stay!

Hey all, thanks for the well wishes! It's actually a partnership between 5 people. I came in after someone needed to get out. Among the 5 are 3 people who also own other business's as well. We have a funeral home owner(the undertaker  ), a trucking company owner, and another who does wireless phones and custom work on cars. Then there is the farmer, and myself, the trainer/instructor. A very diverse group, each brings something different to the group. Funny thing is none of the others work out regularly. I pride myself in customer service, I am the "hands on" owner. The gym just entered it's 5th year of business this week. The past year has been the best of all and membership continues to grow. Everyone donates 8 hours of work a month(this was just dropped from 16 because we are doing so well) After this you get a hourly wage. I do work the most hours of anyone, so at least I get a decent paycheck.
Yes, we are incorporated. They all seem to do well on the business end of things. This is a dream come true for me. I'm looking forward to getting up everyday and going to a job I love, not everyone can do that these days. If I make a little money, that's an added bonus!  If any of you RR's ever get to Lena.......... free work outs on da house!
