You may have heard me mention my tale of purchasing 2 new elliptical machines from StairMaster/Nautilus for the gym the end of January and having a tech out twice in the first week to fix them.  They actually came out a total of 5 times between early Feb. and mid May. They actually flew someone from Texas the 4th time. He was the only one who seemed to know what he was doing.
So after seeing my partner deal with customer service all this time and getting no where basically, I took matters into my own hands.  I sent an email insisting it be passed on to management. I specifically spelled everything out and flat out told them if they couldn't sent the guy from Texas, they should just plan on coming to pick them up. I told them I'd be painting them lemon yellow and place them curbside for pick up and whatever they did, DO NOT SEND DAVE. He had been out to fix them 4 times and each time he left they were worse than when he got their.  I described the new machines as a train wreck waiting to happen.
Well, within 2 hours I get a reply saying my email had been passed on to management and someone would be contacting me. Sure enough within the hour a call from management apologizing for dropping the ball somewhere. So today Gary is coming from Texas to fix the machines again to get us by untill the 2 new ones arrive in the near future to replace the ones that have been torn apart 6 times. 
Now, let's hope they follow through.

Score one for the little man, and a great way of handling the issue without and requesting the correct guy to fix it.
