I jus wanted ta let yall know that I survived another trip to the wild west.
Three day's in Nebraska.. It was....COLD!!
I think my company is trying to kill me off...
I did take a little time and drive over to Dodge...but they told me ta get outa Dodge... Something about the town not being big enough for the two of us...whatever that means...
Casper Wyoming and Snyder Nebraska.. Nice people, like to have fun and all...but there is a lota nothing to see...lots of wind...and cold temps.
Oh yea...and not many runners

Calvin Trillin said it best - the Nebraska license plates should say "Nebraska - It's A Long Way Across."

I was gonna say I was good, but then I thought further about it and figured someone would lie anyway and say I was bad.
We missed you.

Yea right...good huh? I saw the big, boneless breasts thread...
I missed ya'll too.. As I was in a hold pattern...for three hours over Pittsburg...I had a RR dream...but there were other people in it from CH and other parts of my life...it was disjointed and odd...
Probably my O'hare Airport Wolfgang Puck lunch sitting in my tummy....and a lack of something to drink..dehydration started to set in...
I got up at 3:00 am in Snyder....and got home at 7:00 pm...
I hate air travel...and I hate Am*rican Airlines...
They lost my luggage on the way out..
Puddle jumper on the way back..fuel gages did not work and they had to check the tanks with dipsticks... Engine problem in flight..had to throttle back one engine 50%
Got to O'Hare and my flight to Philly was cancled..major mechanical problems with the plane...had to wait 3 hours for another flight...then they changed gates...twice...then after a rather bumpy flight...got put in a hold pattern for almost 3 hours over Philly with crying kids...angry co-flyers...and someone had gas...
Did I mention I hate air travel...
Then I get to Philly and there is a 3 hour jamup on I95...
Yea...I do hate air travel.....

I hate air travel too!
I love having my own vehicle, my own tunes, snacks, my dog sittin' beside me....heck I can even pee in a gatorade bottle and sleep in the back if I need to!

Puddle Jumper = Small regional jet...sorta like an executive LeerJet...with a bunch (lot) of business folks jamed inside...in tiny seats...with no leg room...and very little air..none of it fresh..
This particular aircraft is a EMBRAER Model EMB-135

It's good to be home again...
Just to let ya know....Alia and I check every antique shop we pass for old lunch boxes... Some day we'll find that Punky Brewster lunch box you need to finish that killer collection...
