Actually, I found it to be a kind of boring episode...
Nothing too shocking happened...
Rupert finally won me over...I know that many of you have loved him from the get go...but I have been wary...he's a little close to psycho...however, him on the other team and the change of the other team's attitude was witness enough for me...
That being said...him taking Andrew and showing him what he should take....not good...he even said it himself.
Rupert, you gotta lay low, work hard, and always, always let the others make the decisions (like you did with throwing the challenge).

Ditto on the boring episode. I watched it later on tape and was able to see the whole thing in ~20 minutes, of course, partly becuase I have to fast forward through the eating of the nastiness and hurling. I always hate this episode.
Apparently I missed the good episode last week? I have a few questions on that, if anyone wants to delve back into it. Why were they so anxious to vote Christa off all of the sudden? And we hadn't seen much of Burton, I'm understanding when he did step up he was a jerk? Was the Rupert team switch thing a producer's intervention for the throwing of the immunity? Help if you can...
Anyway, last night, so long Michelle, I didn't know who you were until last night anyway.
I am anxious for the merge. I think it will be very interesting especially now that Rupert is known and pretty much liked by both teams after helping Morgan by giving them more rice, etc. It could cut both ways for him. Should be very interesting.

Yes, pretty boring. All I know is I wish Osten would get the boot soon because I'm so sick of his whining. Honestly, he is just an embarassment. What a baby.
Andrew was definitely a dope for negotiating and just taking a small amount. I didn't see Drake worrying about what was going to be happen when they got to raid Morgan's camp.
Also, Jon really has to go. He grates on my nerves....how has he been able to call the shots and not get the boot yet??? I don't get that at all....

Pff.. last week was crazy. Yeah, I'm sure the producers threw in the member to the Morgan tribe since they threw the challenge. And Burton was the ringleader for throwing the challenge and between him and Shawn had this elementary school teasing of Rupert going..just wacked. I'm sure Shawn is next. And I think the thing with Christa was another juvenile thingie where they just needed a scapegoat for the day and she is the least self-defending in that tribe. The Burton/Shawn/Michelle alliance was trying to pick their first vote-off is what I suspect it really was and it backfired on them since drunken Jon flipped on 'em.
Kind of a ho-hum episode this week, but Michelle shot herself in the foot by not going along with "the plan" of gagging down the drinks and setting herself up as the patsy for the tie-breaker. I dunno why she didn't. It was a simple way for her to earn some standing and could have put Shawn on the block instead of herself.

Thanks Jrjo! That explains Shawn's bizarre trashing of Burton. He's trying to save himself. Sad that we have to get rid of these people before stupid Jon. I really didn't want him to go this far.

I disagree, Andrew came knowing their food supplies were low, and Rupert told the Darke the same thing, by "steering" Andrew in the direction of "food" instead on the "tarp" or another item, Darke still gets to keep the "booty" they looted from Morgan, and it only cost them some food.
Also in Andrews eyes it was more a matter of two friends helping each other out than seeing who a target come the merge.
At tribal council Rupert did a masterful job of saying how dumb throwing the IC was and how much it cost by having him go over to their tribe.
Rupert is the star.
Michelle was in a bad situation all the way around, and her pleading her case to Rupert pretty much sealed her fate.
However the surprise person in my mind is going to be Darrah.
There's always one person that slips through the cracks and she may be the one.
If only she can keep her mouth shut.
Also did you see the way Jeff (Peachy) trying to get the teams to dislike each other? The comment to Darrah about Jon and if he had a chance with her????
The snark is flying now.

Scorch, I saw your post about last week and Darah talking -- Probably more sad, I perfectly understand her, must be my Kentucky roots? so just for your travel notebook? Don't travel to rural Kentucky anytime soon...so funny.
Jeff is on my nerves. He's gone from 'host' to 'dad'. Whats up with the TC lectures?? Can he be voted off? or no?

Exactly my point.
You don't wanna be the star. You don't even want others to notice that you are there. Witness Colby from the Outback season. He kept winning challenges, because if he didn't, they'd vote him off, then at the end, they voted against him.
I too am looking for the sleeper there, and instead of Darrah, I am going with Tijuana. Same tribe. Tijuana is a better worker and maybe easier to get along with .
This one is gonna be great, before it's all said and done...the personalities of rupert, drunk jon, and lazy Osten almost garuntee a great season.

Yes, Rupert is the man. If he manages to hold on until the merge, he will be unstoppable. Seriously, he has the best chance of winning it all.
I disagree that it was "masterful" of him, though, to criticize the group's decision to throw the challenge. He needs to try to fly under the radar a bit. I was screaming "SHUT UP, RUPERT! SHUT UP OR YOU'RE GOING TO BLOW IT FOR YOURSELF!" at the TV last night. Not a smart move.

Colby lost simply because he chose Tina to go to the final 2 with him. If he would've chosen Keith, whom everyone hated, he would've won. He himself later admitted that his decision essentially gave Tina the victory. Though he did get a great Harley from Rosie ....

I really don't think these dolts realize Jeff is prolly watching every foot of tape being taken on these tribes and knows all. They shouldn't even act like they can fool him. What goofs.
And haven't you just had it up to here with Osten?? Whenver he opens his mouth it's just whimpy and whiny. I'm sure the producers are intentially doing this, but wow is his reputation shot forevah.
