Hopefully they'll get better after mine.....
Friday: Had to drop the car off to get brakes fixed (subject of previous rant) and then went to dinner with roomie and then home to drink mucho beer and watch movies. This after he went halfway home before realizing he forgot to pick me up at work so he could follow me to the dealership...
Saturday: picked up car, $366 later I have new brakes and clean oil , did some stuff around the house, stopped at Mickey D's for breakfast even did some serious padding of the national economy at Target, Talked to Kristin for a bit in the PM and had a nice long chat on MSN with my friend across the pond. Looking VERY much forward to this Dublin trip!!!
Sunday: what a disaster. Been looking for a large mirror for over my fireplace for ages, finally found one at Lowe's. It's like 4 foot across so very bulky but not heavy. I'm carrying it into the house, and sneeze and trip (very bad allergy day) and the mirror nicks the bottom of the door frame on the way in and CRACK.....right down the frigging middle. I couldn't have hit the pressure point better if I was trying. NOT a happy puppy, but was cheered up by yet another long chat with said friend and a short one with Keltic til my damn computer started acting up. I gave up after being booted twice.....
All in all, 3 seashells out of 5.....

Blaster worm? http://www.microsoft.com/security/incident/blast.asp
This was endurathon weekend for me. Some of the bricks were planned, but some were spur of the moment.
Friday :: 13 mi. bike --> 1 mi. swim --> 5 mi. run --> 6 mi. bike
Saturday :: 53 mi. bike --> 7 mi. run
Sunday :: 7 mi. early AM run. PM was 1100M swim (lighting closed pool) --> 4.1 mile hard run
So, other than trying to kill myself, I had a pretty dull weekend. Watched some of a couple of movies, shaved my head and went to church, just not in that order.

took an unplanned trip up north. Enjoyed the nice weather and the water. Lots of jetskiing and relaxation.
However when cutting the lawn Saturday morning I was attacked by killer wasps! I was stung twice!!! To top it off I was just stung last Wednesday cutting the lawn at my house! I haven't been stung in years, now 3 in one week. At least I extracted revenge on the little b@st@rds!

I sat on the couch and watched tv and ate pudding all weekend long. In fact I'm still doing it.

Saturday:
Sleep late.
Noon time ride in the Parlor Car of the Stroudsburg Steam Railroad, First Class of course.
Shopping trip to Kitchen Kettle Village for odds and ends, and of course a supply of jellies and jams.
Dinner at East Side Mario's
Sunday:
7 1/2 mile run on the Struble rail trail..... I confess that I did the Galloway thing on the last 2 1/2... "Someone else" did the whole 7 1/2 without stop
Brunch at Cracker Barrel (I love my grits)
A nice afternoon in New Hope with a little shopping
Tonight? Recovery run, home cooked meal, a trip to Wally World, and watching a movie at home with some Ice Cream
Sorry about the mirror Genie....sometimes "stuff" happens....
Just think, the two of you can go look at new ones

Saturday morning load kid and his buddy up to head to Jacob's field for Fan Apprec. Day. Break differential in truck, use friends truck to tow back to house. Borrow dad's truck, go to field, walk along lake erie, attend game, we were in Cleveland for about 10 straight hours. Cost me $24 in parking after some jerk ripped me off $4. I gave some homeless dude $4 to park thinking he was the parking lot attendant.....
Sunday played mechanic all morning and part of afternoon, did nothing but be a slug after that.

Spent Saturday afternoon at my mom's. She took the kiddies to the mall, while I took a little snooze.
Sunday took the kids, to Jen's grandmothers so they could swim, I went back home and took a snooze.
Other than that, chilled at home.

Let's see.
Spent the entire week in Laurel, MD with my boss and 6 others training.
Took a tour of DC and Baltimore.
Got stuck in the whole airline mess on Friday, spent the night in Detroit, and finally got home Sat PM.
All in all a good week/weekend except the 100 degree temps.

Friday: didnt do much-did my run, practised for 2 hours on the piano, went on Riff Raff, then to sleep
Saturday: went on my 8 mile run and celebrated my brother's 10th birthday that night (although his birthday's not until the 23rd). We had a birthday party for him and he invited a bunch of his kiddie friends.
Sunday: Rest break from running, more piano practise, and spent 3 hours on a computer game (Empire Earth)

Went up to VT for the weekend, actually traveled up on Thursday as I was working in the area on Thursday and Friday. Actually, MR. Dancer and Dancer's Puppy also traveled up for the weekend with some of our other friends. Good time up there, golfed Friday, Sat, and Sunday. Got rained on both Sat and Sun, got a run in as well as the lightning was starting up so we ran pretty fast off of the course.
Great cookout on Saturday night, NY steaks on the grill with some killer fresh native corn on the cob..yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
Limited working out time, and I do recall that I used to be in great shape, so I guess it is time to really start training again.

Was pretty much crappy until last night and the good news...
The dining room ceiling caved in on Saturday; the upstairs sink pipes were never repaired properly. Water and mold have been building up and quite frankly the only thing worse than telling you what the water/plaster looked and smelled like would be having to relive the entire experience again.
Spent the rest of Saturday and a lot of Sunday in bed with Benadryl and the dog.
However, things are defnintely looking up!!!!
