You'll get some real kicks from this one PH:
Friday evening: set up for the yard sale, followed by a few beers with a friend.
Saturday 6:30am : continue setting up for the yard sale, then sit there all day hoping the junk would become someone else's. Picnic in the mud that evening.
Sunday: take leftover junk to flea market, wife watches the stuff, I go to work at the church. lunch at my parents' then I go tear down the flea market stuff and take most of what's left to Good Will. Run errands, chauffeur kids, then drop my car off at the garage.
busy, but not real exciting.

WOO HOO! Fantabulous long weekend!
Friday - Six Flags Great Adventure with RLAG & The Paramedic. Literally walked on most of our rides, and went on tons of them. Discovered as I age I become more chicken, but still had a fub time. Off to the running store where I picked up a pair of my sneaks for $50 off retail because they're not carrying them anymore - only will special order at full price . Dinner at Buca di Beppo where we pulled up the trough (at least I won't have to cook this week).
Saturday - Swim-Beer-Que!
Sunday - breakfast out at The Great American Diner, which is truly great. Then cleaned up after Swim-Beer-Que; not too bad, mostly straggler beer bottles.
FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!

Friday: Went to my parents house and had a few beers.
Saturday: Went shopping! Got a new pair of running shoes, (Mizuno's) , and a new hat ( a supa cool PINK stl. cardinals hat, that I am wearing right now!) Got the dog a new bed to sleep in, but she wants nothing to do with it.
Went to eat at J.Bucks. A restaurant owned by Jack Bucks family. First time I been there, probably the last. Lunch cost us $60 The food was good but not $60 good. The service wasn't great either.
Got home and went for a short jaunt in my new tennies.
Sunday: Did alot of chores. Nichole came home today so I spent the rest of the day goofing with her.

Sat: Mr Aire got home, sunburned from his Hawaiian conference I made a pasta salad, corn bread and smoked a brisket for dinner. Had a nice relaxing day, overall.
Sunday: Took Colin to a skatepartk in Napa we chatted on a dirt knoll while we watched him. Had lunch at a supah-expensive place only to find glass inside our burrito. We had already waited so long for our food and we just got so disgusted we couldn't even eat another bite--so we paid and left.
(It was a historic landmark--supah expensive, loooong wait, and glassy burritos. I don't think I'll go back anytime soon.)

Another ultra exciting weekend here.
Friday: laundry (but I read between the loads!)
Saturday: spent the day with my dad at the Huntingtong Park Library & Museum. Saw an Edward Westin exhibit and toured the grounds with a goofy old guy in a wheelchair who thought he was riding an ATV.
Sunday: Went on a bike ride too late in the day and suffered in the heat (triple digits!), got a heat rash and was too exhausted for anything else.
Next.

I don't know if you can handle this rabble-rousing good time
Friday: birthday party/girls night with my friends I hadn't seen in 5 weeks (that class I just finished makes it feel like I was in a coma...life went on without me! Lots of catching up to be done)
Saturday: run 16 sweltering miles, shopping, assorted errands and lots of recouping.
Sunday: lots of much needed sleep, movie watching and family time (including chocolate cake, which always makes everything better)

Another supah thrilling weekend checking in (are we all really this old??)
Friday: happy hour at the neighbors, margaritas and silly movie night
Saturday: AM: cleaning, food shopping, getting ready for uncle/godfather's suprise BD party in afternoon. Much drinking done there with family members and catching up with a few out of town cousins in for the event.
Sunday: roomie and I spent time tweaking our weightlifting routine--KILLAH! really liking the new setup. Got some office cleaning done and made seafood chowder for dinner. Chatted online with some friends. Did absolutely nothing else all day like a couple of lazy hooches.

I know, I know.....I owe you about a year and a half's worth of beers....
Trust me, I was in no shape to drive after all we had to drink, plus the heat always makes me worse. I'm bummed I missed the party though

Photos? Stories?? |
rtpd came over with the kids, who were both fascinated and terrified of my two miniature poodles. I made a new friend in JJ when I brought out a cool fire truck of The Paramedic's that has a swinging, retractable ladder. Sadly the kids did not like the big fire trucks at the squad he runs at, though.
I have a few photos, a few of me doing menial labor (skimming the pool) which shocked my husband so much he almost had a coronary. Then RLAG made me very pretty by putting tiny braids in my hair, also captured on film. None will make it to this site, however. In between there was much drinking and debauchery which will not be detailed here. I relearned the hard why why it is not a good idea to start drinking at 12:30 in the afternoon. Because I was ready for bed by 8:30.
