Did you get the grand prize,
1st prize, 2nd place, 3rd place or honorable mention.
Mine was probably a 2nd place. We got a lot of housework done, Robin actually did no work this weekend (she has worked the last several weekends), and no major problems.
We had a birthday dinner for our brother in law today at the place Robin and I had our wedding reception. We have a lot of family functions there and Robin and I have gone there several times on our own. Last night though about 1/2 of the people there did not like their food and the hostess was awful, unattentive and forgot a lot of stuff. We also had a 6 o'clock reservation and did not sit down to eat until 815. JJ, Hannah an Abby were extremely tired but were well behaved. We basically ate our entrees then left.
We will still go there again but I will be writing them a nice letter about our disappointment.
Overall not a bad weekend but not the greatest.

That's the best thing you can do in that situation. Give them a chance to make good on their mistakes (because everyone makes mistakes). If they come clean, continue to give them business but if they give you the brush off, take your business elsewhere.

I know John, the place is sentinmental to Robin and I. I am willing to give them a free pass anyway, because we have always received outstanding service there.

Honorable mention.
Had some good workouts. Had a cubscout function where he got the Light of Christ medal. He also won 2 Sixers tickets, then he started to cry because he doesn't like basketball. We gave the tickets back. Other boys were more then happy to get another chance at winning them.

1st prize!
Saturday went to a Mystery Dinner Theater. It was at the Lemp Mansion. Supposedly one of the 10 most haunted houses in America! There was 14 of us in our group and we all had a great time. The dinner was worth the price of admission alone.

Here is some info on the Mansion. Great history lesson!
Sunday went to our new Lowe's Home Improvement store!! Its just 2 miles away. We will be spending a lot of time (and money) there I'm sure.
Set a PR for a 3 mile run.

No prizes here. Just another uneventful weekend at home. Not bad, just uneventful. We need to get something exciting going on in our lives.

Other than getting to run a little longer than I normally do on Saturday, I'd call this weekend a disqualification.

2nd place I guess. Got some good runs in. House projects were completed. All-star game was a good one. Getting a new shower head was definitely the highlight! I'm getting old...

What kind did you get? We had a massage type and it broke (?) so we bought a "rain water" type with the huge head-- it is so cool! It even has a knob that allows you to make it a "jet" stream.
I love getting a new shower head!

Man, did we ever need one! The old antique one they had here when we moved in was a disgrace to all shower heads!!
We bought a Peerless one, aire. 5 different settings....but I'm finding the regular 'spray' to be the best one...

does it leak Joel?
Because water is only supposed to come out of the shower head not where it connects to the water pipe Just thought you should know that

About a second. Marshall Field's s is closing here; everything is on sale. Got a great deal on a camel hair coat and some other stuff; it was pretty much a zoo so I didn't stay long. The women's shoe department and the men's department were the worst; women fighting over stuff!!! I want no part of that. We had a nice night on Saturday, in pretty early but had fun.
Now if I can just get rid of this stupid chest cold; it was going away and I think the shopping made it worse; it;s one of those where you feel like your chest is ripping when you cough.
