Did you fold, have aces high, a pair, two pair, three of a kind, straight, flush, full house, 4 of a kind, straight flush or royal flush?
Mine was about a flush
Friday night into Saturday Robin and I got away for a night and had a nice dinner and breakfast together.
Saturday and Sunday Robin worked both after noons into late in the evening. So it was me and the kiddos all weekend.
We had a nice steak dinner (me, JJ and Hannah) on Sunday.
I was able to get more of my basement organized. I got 10 more boxes put on shelves and I am getting more space in my basement. I was also able to get 7 loads of wash done and put away.
It was productive but Robin was gone most of the weekend so I kept busy on other things.
A flush beats a lot of hands though!

I would say two pair. Firday was a great time singing karaoke with some old friends. Nice to know I've still got it!
Saturday was pretty uneventful, but still a nice day. We submitted plans for our addition to the contractor, so that was exciting to reach the next step.
Sunday, well, the game sucked. I was rooting for the Raidas, but I wouldn't have cared if the Bucs won if it was at least an entertaining game. It just wasn't close.

Full house? Topped off a week of good training with more good training. Finally got in a decent long run (14 miles). It's been a while since I've been able to get in that distance due to either lack of motivation or lack of time.
Got my church on. Good sermon on Sunday.
Finished up another little web site project.
Did some quality sleep too.

Why do I ALWAYS read this as marital arts?
Our weekend was really disjointed. Had an awesome lunch at Red Lobster-thanks to a gift card. Had scallops, shrimp, and deviled crab--covered with cheeeeze. Did laundry. Got some good dog walking in--nice warm weather in Philly yesterday afternoon. Watched the superbowl--all the way through--fun game, wish it had been closer. Though that last TD was pretty cool. Lots of phone calls. (None of which I answered, though )

Didn't watch the Superbowl and I'm freakin glad I didn't...seeing Sapp hold up the Lombardi Trophy? Not right...
It's like a broken record for me...got a ton done at the house this weekend...set up my tools and such downstairs...Went to a party last Friday night, didn't get laid, I got in a fight..uh-huh...it ain't no big thing...wait aminute, that's somebody else's weekend... I DID go to a party though...
Also, found an old 1950 radio cabinet (RCA Victor radio still intact and even working). It's a nice dark cherry wood and after some touching up, will be our new television stand. So I got that going for me, which is nice...
That's it! Next weekend, is our annual ski trip up at Blackjack (Upper Michigan). Ton of friends, skiing, drinking, illegal sledding...tom foolery ad nauseum!!!

My wife finally got an antique chair reupholstered this weekend. Originally my in-laws gave me the chair to restore myself but it was too time consuming for me to do so we shopped out the refinishing and upholstery. I'll post a pic of it soon, it looks great.

Yep, tubes and all! Can you believe it. Such a rich sound too...Unfortunately, I may end up gutting the entire thing (it's going to serve as a media cabinet as well)...
We'll see though. And yes, antiques do rule!

I think I'm gonna fold. Friday Hubby went out drinking, Saturday Hubby went out drinking. (Then he comes home and complains that he's fat )
Sunday all the in-laws came over to our house to watch the Super-bowl. That's about all I gotta say about that, right?

2 pair. Not much on Friday night, just driving the kids to and from their events. Did the wash saturday morning, cleaned a little, took the 4yo to a birthday party. Went out to celebrate some friends' birthday's and had a great time. Church on Sunday, followed by dinner at my parents' house. Drove home in a snowstorm, watched some of the game.
oh yeah, and a 2 hour delay for school this morning

Straight Flush
Spent most of Saturday morning with the kiddos
Afternoon was using a burning torch to cut up some old worktables and equipment stands over at my old shop. Trying to sell some unecessary equipment and had to clean the place up.
Saturday night Pebbs, the kids and I all sat down to play board games.
Sunday cleaned up around the house, took the kiddos sled riding on a huge hill
.. then tried to watch some commercials but kept getting interrupted by a football game.
Pebbs made the bestest wings and hot sausage.

That and eating half a cake, downing a 2-liter of pepsi, eating half a pizza, then having an ice-cream bar. (and that was just dinner)
