Colin has pinewood derby tomorrow. He has built, with a little assistance from dad, a cool looking pickup.
Sunday, run and watch some football.
Working monday.

Good luck with the 1/2, PFFFffffffffffff!! Cant wait to read the report.
Tonight we're hanging out with 2 other couples. The words 'dinner', 'bowling' 'tour of house' and 'drinking' were used while planning the affair... WE'll see what happens. Check your memo box in the morning for full details.
Tomorrow, get this, we're going 'antiquing' with my parents. That's their huge LOVE. They invited us. We accepted. Besides I'm looking for a nice desk to refinish so I'll be prospecting, early and often.
Sunday, church, try to watch some football, get some housework done..I guess it's gonna be wicked-cold that day up here...

Our weekend will be pretty slow. Mr. Airehead got 4 shots today--Anthrax, smallpox, typhoid, and yellow fever. He already feels like crap. The yellow
fever one makes him break out into a weird sweat in his sleep and gives him strange dreams.
So, we'll be laying low this weekend...

No shotgun rack, headache rack, lightbar...but a few lead weights in the bed.
Wife decided to try her hand at helping the other night when Colin was putting the wheels on. She thought the wheels were too loose, so she suggested he use the glue gun. Next morning he brings it to me because the wheels won't turn...they glued the axles in place :!:
So last night we pry the nails out and have to sand down the nail/axles and do it the right way.

That's quite a commute just for a free dinner, yes?

The 5K is in Waukesha. Dinner is at the home they own in Milwaukee when they come to the U.S. to do some slumming.
And, yeah, they can cook!

Sunday morning: My first half marathon for which I do not feel trained but I'm going to do it just to do it and have fun. Cheer my friends on who are doing the whole.
Good luck with your half-marathon Sunday!!!! Can't wait to hear how you did!

You can track my progress at hphoustonmarathon.com. If you know my name!
note to self: interesting new variation of nickname....must remember
