Did ya do anything exciting or unexpected? I just hung around by myself all weekend. Hubby and the boyz were camping. I took full advantage and just did the slacker thing. Tons of things I should have done though. I did do some shopping for the boyz for school, it starts this Friday. I wish tomorrow was Friday!

My kids were away and my lovely bride worked all weekend so some slacking was done on my part as well.
Saturday I went into the city and rode, went birthday shopping for my niece, went to church by myself at night. Made the lovely bride a nice romantic dinner, (London Broil, Salad, French Fries, Texas Toast, (and international them)), complete with flowers, and nice bottle of Merlot
Sunday, met Ranger and Alia in the city for a ride, then took them too breakfast at a local diner.
Was able to rest a little bit as well. Me and the cat took a couple of long snoozes both Saturday and Sunday.
Start vacation today, and we have a busy week of fun stuff planned.

Sat. did a lot of driving as we got a new cage for our bird. Got home and found out the cage was missing a part so we drove back.
Sunday, nothing special, went to a birthday party for a niece.

Don't let your niece read that.

Saturday: race, feed, laundry, feed some more, nap, beer, order a pizza, finish laundry, visit gf
Sunday: up at 6:30 am to drink coffee and read paper. By 7:15 I'm packing stuff up for a trip to Lake Erie beach. Me and the kid head out the door at 8:30, pick up gf and head to pre-arranged meeting point to hook up with my sister/nephew and my parents. On way there it dawns on me I've no clue where my billfold is because it's not in my pocket. to make a long crazy story short, it was found, we spent day at beach loafing and eating grilled burgs/sausages and a variety of other good stuff.

she challenged me to build a lego tower taller than her.
I did.
Then she said I could not make it taller than she could jump.
I did.
Then JJ told her, I made a lego tower touch the ceiling of our house (one tower, unsupported). She moved along.

Was supposed to do a 30 mile ride with sis/BIL & friend. They misjudged the mileage and even missed a turn. We ended up doing 62 miles, but it was a gorgeous day and we had a good time.

I found myself munching on a half-moldy piece of bread this morning.
Of course that means that the sandwich I had last night was moldy too.
That's pretty exciting.

My weekend went as follows:
watched the astros lose
moved.
had some fabulous helpful friends over and moved some more.
continued moving.
ate pizza and some beer.
attempted to start unpacking and became overwhelmed and decided to go back to the 'pizza and beer' phase
integrated the cats
came to work to relax/out of frustration from not being able to find anything.
