Saturday was very eventful...
Slept in a bit
Cleaned house
Took my van to get an oil change and tire rotation
Graded 3 tests
Lesson planned for the week
Ran 1.5 hours
Sunday...
Slept in a bit again
More house cleaning
Took the kids to lunch
Grocery shopped (it had been nearly a month)
Cooked dinner
Did some more work
Now gearing up for the week
How was your weekend???

Saturday: Ran for 4 1/2 hours then spent the rest of my day just relaxing around the house. I rented a movie, watched the Olympics, and just did absolutely nothing for the rest of the day.
Sunday: Went to church then out to a sports bar/restaurant to watch the men's marathon. To my dismay, they would NOT put the sound on for the marathon - something about "we only put the sound on for major sporting events!" WHAT THE HECK IS THE OLYMPICS????? IDJUTS!!! So, I saw the dude getting pushed off the side of the road but I didn't get to hear any of the commentators so I was kinda ticked off about it. I WILL NOT patronize Champs again! Period! The rest of the day my family and I spent driving around town looking for good real estate investments (we are just getting into this arena and we think we found something on our first day out!! WHOO HOO!!!).

Saturday: 8 of us painted for 8 hours at the gym.  I had never painted before and I think being on a ladder with a paintbrush and a cool whip container full of paint for 8 hours should not be an olympic event. I did manage to break the ladder though??  Yeah, whatever. I was the smallest 1 there. They were amazed though at all the food I was eating.  It rained all day too so I scratched my run but as soon as I got home and showered, the sun came out. 
Sunday: House stuff after my usual run, bike, weight lifting thing. Get the kids ready for school this week.

Friday - arrive in Quebec City, check in and go to race check in. Look over the city - really unique place. Hot and muggy
Saturday - more hot and muggy - went to race breakfast - watched 5K runners come in (My coach said not to do that)
Sunday - up at 0445, breakfast at 0500, went to shuttle area for ride to start 0630. Waited for race to start - 0830 went for a leisurely 13.1 mile run. 1800 - 2200 post race party and light buffett.
Monday - going home. Will write up my race report for you all. After we start to clean up flooded basement (long story)

Ran Saturday and Sunday - the latter went terrific!
Nice time (really) grocery shopping with LC - she had to get stuff to make a guacamole dip for work. I don't eat the stuff but she claims she makes the best.
Loads of Olympics watching.
Also got an outside (keypad) and remote garage door openers. Installed those puppies myself. Something went askew with them somehow, but not to complain - now our toast turns out just the way we like it.

Thursday: Drove to Charlotte.
Friday: A.M.: 6 mile run while the gf was at work. Unclogged her shower drain, fixed various other things. P.M.: GF took afternoon off and we went to Atlanta. Had dinner somewhere in Buckhead that night.
Saturday: Braves vs San Francisco. A little shopping, then dinner and drinks out.
Sunday: Drive home, stopping at various outlet malls on the way. Left ATL @ 11:30 am. Got home @ 11:30 last night. I'm tired.

Friday: slept in after LAST BUSINESS TRIP OF THE YEAR. Had a great lunch with a friend. My car was finished early! so I picked it up at the body shop, avoiding a rental car (finally got it fixed from when I got hit in May). Very nice, loving dinner with hubby.
Saturday: tangled with the Dunkin' Donuts lady who just could not understand what I wanted, and then tried three times to charge me twice as much. Trekked into NYC for race packet, pizza, and ice cream in CPW. Fantastic dinner at my baby brother's to celebrate some recent very good news relating to his serious medical condition.
Sunday: finished a half marathon that kicked my ass. Drove home, crawled in house, and spent rest of the day on my couch. In bed by 930.

Friday - had a fun night out (way too late, but once in a while that just happens).
Saturday - cleaned up, did laundry, went skating and then to the beach.
Sunday - company picnic, which was a lot of fun. Went lobstering, ate a whole bunch of barbecue, and then discovered sea lice (jellyfish larvae). They cause welts, a rash, intense itching and burning, and nothing apparently works on the reaction other than time. I've had about two hours of sleep since the reaction to them kept me awake all night. They still itch.

Friday night: happy hour with the roomie and some friends from work 
Saturday: Spent the day in Amish country with Maddie's Wench and took my newly acquired bike to be overhauled. I can't wait to pick it up this weekend!!! Grillin and chillin and sampling all the tasty goodies I bought with the roomie for dinner. Ahhh.... 
Sunday: spent much of the day painting my room and it's almost done! It looks awesome.....I did the two short walls in seafoam green and the two longer walls in lilac and the combination is soooooo peaceful! Took some time to get my head together over something that's been bothering me for a while and I am feeling MUCH better!
School starts tonight, time to GET BUSY!!!

Lots of Olympics watching, plus A Chorus Line, Dirty Harry and Pieces of April. Disappointing race on sunday. Decent meal on saturday night, had a fajita and it was very tasty.

Saturday: Painted Kidlet's room. 1 room down, rest of the house to go. Had a great run and workout. Watched TV.
