Most excellent here! Twas the annual Ski Weekend-o-rama up in the UP (upper michigan...but it's really Wisconsin, they're not fooling anyone)...
Great weather...great friends and the skiing conditions were straight butta. Despite a nasty spill by Joy, we all had a great time!
Back to work is sucky, but I'm leaving to San Diego on Thursday for my friends wedding!

Pretty much good. Spent 4 hours at the salon stripping the red color out of my naturally blonde hair (fried my scalp, the definite downside), and it is mostly blonde again, but I have strawberry blondish ends...fixing those hopefully on Friday (my next two visits to get me completely blonde again are FREE!! w00t!!)
Got a bit of homework done sat & sun, took Jake's stitches out sunday, watched 3 movies (lost in translation, runaway jury, the new dvd Kevin Costner cowboy flick), created a behavior chart for the kids. Played games & read books with the kids. Busy weekend, but overall, good.

That's cool Brie!!! So your hair is more Libby's color naturally? I bet that's really pretty.....
Mine was as well.
Friday: figured out I am having a CFIDS relapse. Was SO tired roomie had to drive us home from work because I just couldn't manage it. Came home and promptly passed out on the couch at 7:30, woke up and 9 and literally crawled up stairs to bed.
Saturday: not much better, dragged myself to an appointment in the AM, then spent most of the day sleeping and trying to study. Unsuccessful on the 2nd part.
Sunday: got to chat briefly with Keltic and JJ online as well as a long chat with my friend across the pond who I have not heard from in quite some time. Highlights of my weekend. Head still really fuzzy and not much studying done for tomorrow night's midterm. Stressed and worried today.

Dinner out Friday
Work Saturday
Laundry and baseball draft Sunday so Sunday wasn't too bad once the laundry was done. I got a lot of good kids for my baseball team - not necessarily talented but good anyways. Although I already have one mom all po'd because her kid didn't make the "Gold" team.

Ugh, poor you! I don't know what CFIDS is, but it sounds bad. I hope you're feeling better soon.
Ah, the hair. To be honest, even the roots have too much red. My natural color is somewhere between the boys & Libby... not light like the boys, not dark like Libbys. I think we should have done the ash toner on it, it would look less brassy. It's a great color, for sure, just not the real real me. I think this is what we're going for:
I should take a pic today and let you see what it looks like. It's so different... and been a year since I've been blonde so I don't even know what color it should be!

I did my own version of TLC's "Clean Sweep" this weekend on my closet & guest bedroom (my computer room). 2 bags of clothes, 3 boxes of books & random stuff to Goodwill. 3 boxes to the trash.
I could've knocked it out in one day, but when you mix in a pint (or dozen) of homebrew, it tends to take a bit longer.

Saturday was spent repairing a computer network (actually about 20 minutes was spent repairing the network) Then I repaired the heater in my truck. I NOW HAVE HEAT!!!!!
Sunday I got to pull the ol' Suzuki out and ride it. It was a little chilly, but the motorcycle still had power and was still fun to ride. So that was a
Sunday night I went to church. For the Homily, the priest stepped aside and let a lady speak about her recent mission trip to Haiti (our church just had a team get back a couple weeks ago). It was horrible to hear how much it has changed over the last few years (or even the last year since I had been there). She said the people who were once full of hope now have no spark. That enough for some to .

The weekend started out great then went downhill from there. On Friday I went to the Dr. for a routine physical. Stepped on the scale for the first time since July... I'd lost 20 pounds!! So I went shopping!!
On Saturday I went to work. It was pretty busy, but mostly routine.
On Sunday I worked. At a 4:45 as I'm trying to shut down computers (we close at 5) a woman comes to me to let me know that a little girl has just thrown up. It's on the sofa and the carpet (last week we paid lots of bucks to have a cleaning crew come in to steam clean everything). Fortunately our weekend cleaning guy was there, so I ran to get him to clean up. Otherwise it would have been me.
Oh, and my son called from college to inform me that he's sick with a bad sore throat and cold. This morning I woke up with a sore throat.
