Watch his team come out of this kicking my ass in the end. That will be my luck. |

We celebrated my birthday on Friday since the lovely bride is working all weekend. She made me Chicken quesidilla's and Chicken enchiladas (spelling on both). and a homemade cheesecake
Yesterday I ran the kids around for their stuff. We went to mass in the evening and lounged at home for the remainder of the evening.

Friday: Finally got the Goldwing (my motorcycle) repaired and actually got it washed! Now it's shiny.
Saturday: Spent the day over at Brie's helping her move (report to follow soon)
Sunday: Church, start repairing the truck. Shouldn't be too bad. It's only a wheel bearing, an electrical short, and brake problems.
Monday: INTERVIEW!!!!

Friday my honey was out playing poker, when my dad called and said he needed help unloading a new washer and dryer. So I got to go out to my parents house and listen to mom repeatedly tell dad to "be careful with those !! Don's scratch them getting them out of the box!! Am I gonna sound like that in another 25 years??
Saturday I did a bunch of nothing. The temps got up to 90 degrees for the first time this summer. Read a book, watched a movie, listened to the men in my basement cussing.
Sunday: It's still early today, but I woke up to find my FIL on my front porch reading the paper.

Does this happen often??? I don't know how I'd react if I found anyone on my front porch first thing in the morning.

Only since we've been working on the basement. He gets up way earlier than we do, so he come's over grabs the paper out of the driveway, and sits in a chair on the porch until we notice he's here.

Yesterday I had a good day doing little errands here and there but mostly hanging out at home base. Today I'm going out to watch the US Pro Cycling Championships from a vantage point off Kelly Drive. Even though I've lived here (the second time) for almost 10 years, I've never gone to see it, just watched it on TV. Today's the day. I'm bringing a cowbell. Seriously.
