Pen and paper make it a lot easier. |
Yeah! After the first four, I started writing them down. I kept looking for a pattern, but the way I numbered the "keys" there wasn't one. And unless I didn't finish writing them down, I count 26 different button sets. Surprisingly, two of the buttons were never used. |
I didn't even think of pen and paper. I had them all memorized.
But I did notice a pattern halfway through that made it easier. Did you notice that in many cases it was the one that was not like the others? For example, to start off, you choose the one sad face instead of the happy face. Even the ones that all appeared to be the same were slightly different; in the one with the circles (right after the P in the upper right hand corner) the circle that is on the correct button is the only one with some straight lines in it.

Curses! Now I'm going to have to do it again! I looked for a visual pattern too, but was too impatient. And the circles, are you talking about the one where all the buttons were yellow(?) circles? I didn't see any lines.

I'm talking about the one where they were all little circles in the center of the buttons. Unfortunately, there's something wrong with my monitor so they all look orange to me! It's pretty imperceptible unless you look very closely.
Not all the patterns are just visual either... in the first set of letters you choose an F, which is the only consonant (the rest of the keys are vowels).
