our weekend sucked
We got very little sleep because Abby is keeping us up with a lot of pain in her belly and spent the whole weekend on pain medication.
we did get to watch two movies.
Under the Tuscan Sun
and
Bad Boys
one for her
one for me

Mrs G. finished a quilt for our new niece, and got the front done for a race-shirt quilt for me.
Ran decently in the snow (finally!)
What TV time was spent either with the Stooges, the Millrose Games in NYC, or still trying to figure out the new Quizno's commercials.

very busy weekend, starting with PT on Friday, dinner with a friend.
Sat: went to the house to help clean up the yard, took my 15yo son to order flowers for his GF for Valentine's Dance, did the laundry and grocery shopping, paid off my car, paid the car insurance.
Sun: Church then shopping for bargains and Valentine's gifts for my kids, Evening Vespers at church, ice cream with another friend, working on my daughter's present for Valentine's day.
Right back into work today, PT after school, then a rehearsal. I left my place at 8:00am, will be back home around 9:30pm

Friday: Started day with a quarter mile swim and then with delays, made 11 hour trip home from Houston . Caught up on schoolwork at the airport and on the plane, and read Tess Gerrison's Harvest in its entirety (can't remember the last time I read a whole book in one sitting ). Once I got home, went out to dinner with The Paramedic where we discussed cardiology and how the heart works with exercise at length over beers.
Saturday: attended bike repair & maintenance course part 1 where I learned how to change a tire, lube stuff up, and manipulate a derailleur. Ran a few errands then did more schoolwork. Watched Daredevil, which was surprisingly good.
Sunday: did four loads of laundry, ran dishwasher, did yet more schoolwork.

Sat.: worked 5 hrs in the a.m., did laundry, took a nap, went out for a few beers and dinner with a buddy of mine.
Sun.: read paper, short trip to grocery store, 14 mile run in the afternoon, picked up gf and made her dinner. She was duly impressed as my kitchen abilities are definitely improving.

Friday night: Long drive in the snow to take Ian to his Daddy's house. Was met with "I'd like to talk to you about something." But it was good news!!
Saturday: Worked the morning and some of the afternoon, then went out with a gal pal to see LOTR ROTK. I think it coulda been alot shorter if there weren't so many meaningful looks between Frodo and Sam. The Battle Scenes rocked. I simply MUST have a pair of slippers that are made in the image of the spider web Frodo. Must.
Sunday: Chore day. Got Ian home. He took exactly a 1/2 hour to trash the place.

Friday night: Went over to Happy's for pizza, beer and Clue!!! (I lose all 3 games)
Saturday: Worked 9-6. Went to dinnah and my BIL's new restaurant. It's more of a pub with restaurant attached. More peeps there to drink than eat.
Sunday: Hubby was gone all day skiing. I went to meet a friend for a run at 7:30. Decided against that due to the wind gusts. Went home and walked Sophie, drank a pot of coffee, read Blow Fly. Fell asleep around 11:30. Woke up and spent 12-2:30 going to open houses. (got lost most of the time). Ate lunch, watched Frida (very good movie.) Walked Sophie. Put the bike on the trainer and tooled around on the bike. Had dinnah and hubby came home around 7:30.
