I like to mark up people's technical specs and send them back with "grades" and comments like "Try Harder"...

All of the above. I'm a pen/sharpie/highlighter whore. I like pens of all kinds and all colors and I like to use them. It really jazzes up my lab notebook.

I used to have a pen that made each letter silver but they were all outlined in purple. Now THAT was a pen.

Libby has a few of those, red/silver, green/silver, blue/silver. You can find them at regular stores I think, or try craft stores, or Hallmark, or some such places. B&N had them too for a while.
