3 sets of benchpress (165#, 10/8/6)

3 sets barbell curls (60#,10 70#,10/ 10)
3 sets military press (machine, 180# 8/6/6)
3 sets dumbbell curls (40#, 10/10/10)

10 min easy run ~ 8-8.5min/mile
4*1min sprint with 2min recovery jogs.
10 min easy run ~ 8min miles ( felt like I could run forever after the fartlek....

Very easy 5 this morning, probably no faster than 7:30 pace. There almost seems to be no point in doing these ultra-easy runs, but the extra mileage really seems to be paying off.

3 miles on the tread due to Storm Frances moving through the state. Nope, I wasn't going to run outside in that. We've probaly got 6 inches of rain so far.
Nice workout with weights and abs afterwards.

PM: Pyramid-style pace intervals with a friend at around 10k race pace on the road near campus. 1.4 mile warmup, 10:55, then intervals (by time) with 2 min recoveries in between workbouts: 2 min-2 min EZ-4 min-2 min EZ-6 min-2 min EZ-6 min-2 min EZ-4 min-2 min EZ-2 min-2 min EZ
1 mile cooldown jog/walk
about 7.4 miles for the afternoon workout
Total of 12.5 miles for the day.

35 miles of commuting - an accident on the way in had me add on a few extra miles to go around it.
30 minutes of free weights
1/2 mi. brick right after I got home and then a few minutes later, 4 miles easy

15 minutes of running on the good ole treadmill.
Feeling better each and every time.
