5 minute warm up, 1 mile running= 10 minute mile thankyouverymuch 5 minute cool down.
I couldn't stand it. I was doing my 5 minute warm up to weight training, walking on the treadmill, when Tom Petty's "American Girl" came on the iPod. I love to run to that song. So I said, f it, I am running. So I cranked up that treadmill and ran 1.1 miles. I wanted to run more, but thought better of it.
Then I did 50 minutes of core work and back, and came home and iced the leg for 15 minutes. It feels fine right now. Actually I have a pain in my left thigh (the uninjured leg) but that's probaly due to the inactivity I've been having.

That's too tough a temptation, isn't it Kimba? Nice to hear you ran again, and better that you did things proper.
Tonight - 6.064 miles in :54:11.53 (8:56.20). The whole thing felt good - pretty easy. I should have pushed myself more.
