I was looking for a local club or group to hook up with for some group running (need some added motivation) and stumbled upon this website. On a whim I added my info (it says in multiple locations that it is not a dating website, although I am sure it could be if you are so inclined). Within a day I received a message from an Australian runner who lives about 2 miles away from me. The founder of the site, Patrick, gave me a free upgrade (typically $9.95 per year) which lets you know who has looked at your profile and anytime anyone in your area signs up. It is a better set up then buddyup which was lacking of basic info and had me wondering if it was even working.
ExerciseFriends.com has some lightly used forums, lets you see who is logged on, and also lets you know the last time someone had logged on.

I like it.

I said it says in multiple locations that it is not a dating website, although I am sure it could be if you are so inclined.

It give you the choice of searching for only males, females or all friends welcome. For those of us who are definetly not looking for a date, it could be useful. Razz
