As a follow-up to my question about Bell South DSL, if they don't offer multiple web pages does anyone have a clue on how to get web site hosted, what I should look for etc?

Wasn't all your previous stuff under multiple directories before anyway?

i.e. www.bellsouthdsl.com/_boiler/kid1/index.htm

www.bellsouthdsl.com/_boiler/kid2/index.htm

I have to talk to my club board to see what direction they want to go.

It was all based on the email address

http://home.att.net/~oencan/index.html - Purdue Site
http://home.att.net/~Tweety96/index.html - Jason's site
http://home.att.net/~Butterfly302/index.html - Kaylee's site

Each of those match email accounts. I don't know if Bell South will offer that option.

I don't mind combining the kids sites into one if I go with Bell South but I still need to figure out where to put the Purdue site. I know I could go to Yahoo and create a site there but unless you start paying you run into the problem with to many hits (and that hit count is low) and they shut down the site for an hour or so.

I need to research what Purdue offers it's club's also. I think they offer limited hosting, but due to the amount of information and pictures I have collected, I would like to still provide all that to my club and fellow Purdue Alumni.

I kind of like the idea of paying for a site because then I figure I could get the domain name I want. I just don't know what services are offered or where to look to get recommendations.

Thanks Everybody.

http://dreamhost.com/ Sometimes, they'll run excellent deals and you can get a year of hosting for $15 or so.

I know Road Runner does personal web sites based on the email address. I use Brinkster.com to host some database driven websites that I do.
