Gas station calls, they have an irate customer who requested only $10.00 in gas from pump #2. But he was at pump #6 and mistakingly pumped $25.00 in gas. He refused to pay.
When we got there he was adamant about not paying.
We told him that was fine and he could leave, as soon as we got done writing him a ticket for $300.00 for theft.
He paid the money and was advised to pay more attention.

Goooooo Radnor Police!
My little story - I was out in the garage last night and I see one of the neighborhood kids go zipping by at >40MPH (speed limit is 25) with no helmet on a four-wheeler. One of those non-street legal rec. vehicles.
A few minutes later I see him going by much slower in the other direction with a police officer behind him. I'm assuming the officer was following him home so that he could chew out the parents.

PH, you got some ATV trails nearby or what would a kid in the burbs ever use a 4-wheeler for?

I don't really care if they ride them in the neighborhood but he was going too fast and needed a helmet.

They don't use em for anything, they just ride them. We got a kid in our hood that drives entirely too fast on one.

My kids ride 'em on some trails down the road from the house, legally. They do have to ride on the road for 1/4 mile to get there but ours is a back road, just paved in the past couple of years. It's pretty common to see them buzzing around but some of these kids do ride them way too fast.

It's well publicized but not enforced often ATVs are illegal on any public roads, shoulders or ditches. Can't say I see helmets very often either.
I was gonna give PH grief if there were trails nearby and he wasn't out running on them

They are legal on secondary (gravel) roads around here but still have to obey regular traffic laws - i.e. no speeding.
