afterall. It would take every penny we had and then some to get into that house. After long discussion and 1 knock down drag out fight we decided it would be best to stay where we are at.

It's not worth it to go into debt that far and have zero to fall back on. A lot of people do that these days and it comes back to bite 'em in the ass.

I agree totally. I know to many people who will be paying on their house until they are 100 or file bankrupt. That won't be me.

I was checking the ashtray in my car and digging in the sofa cushions for a down payment. We were cutting it super close. Times were tight for the first few years. If you and Mr. Akern can't live like that, then it's good that you made the decision to stay put for now.

But if the life expectancy calculator only says 90.2, that takes nearly 10-years off the loan.. see, they're one step ahead of ya!
