We're changing our son's room

and I'd like some ideas.

We're updating his room with a more "grown up" theme/colors. I have bought a lava lamp and and some rope lights for his room.

Any other ideas? He's a skateboarder. We're making new drawer handles for his desk and dresser out of skateboard wheels.

I've looked for posters of skaters and have found exactly 1.

Rent Gleaming the Cube! A skater has a cool ramp in his bedroom!

A skateboard theme would be cool. You could probably find some old decks and such at some skate shops (posters too)...

I thought about making shelves out of old decks. I've got to see if I can find some....
