This has been a HUGE issue here in NC for the past several years. Today, it squeeked by the Senate after passing the House earlier this year. I'm not really for or against it. It's not my thing. But HOW it got passed the Senate is just pitiful. They basically waited until 2 opponents didn't show up to vote.

They could always redistrict so that the opposing party is now in heavily populated areas of the other party like Texas did.

Glad it finally happenned. Charlotteans can stay in NC now when they win, instead of getting apartments in Rock Hill, as they had been forced to do... when they won in SC....
