Well, do ya? Is the temptation of winning $42-million just too much. It's okay to fess up, you're among friends Wink

Whenever I'd buy a lottery ticket for grins my MIL would say "You have the same chance of getting struck by lightning than winning the lottery." I would reply to her, "Yeah, but it's more fun to win the lottery." And it would go round and round.

Neither have happened yet, thank goodness.

I only buy one if the pot is over $100 million. Anything less is chump change.

we play as a group in this school. $2 /week.

I buy instant tickets at least once a week.

I also buy tickets from social groups, but almost never play the big lottery that PA runs.

My greed overcomes my intelligence at about 30 million--and I buy a $1 quick pick, cash option.

This reminds me. My Physical Chemistry professor had us spend about 15 minutes in class once calculating the probablility of winning the lottery. We were actually working on the probability of finding an electron in a distinct location in space (<swoon> Schrodinger is my hero! </swoon>), but you can use the same equations to calculate other probabilities as well. Anyways, I haven't been tempted since.
