Posted: 11/23/05 - 20:38 Post subject: We may be staying home for Thanksgiving
It's still pouring snow here. We rarely get alot of snow this time of year. We drove to town, about 20 miles away, roads were very slick. We've already called the rents to tell them not to expect us. I don't feel like driving two hours north, and spending the day worrying about driving home in order to feed the dogs.
Still, I don't think we've actually spent a Thanksgiving alone, at home, since we've been married. We may have steak for dinner! And that cheesecake I made for the rents!

That stinks, Kimba! Sorry to hear that. I'm in a similiar boat... except I'm all alone!! I had some elaborate hiking plans for the White Mountains, but some major snowstorms up there have altered plans for everyone who was going. No biggie though, I'm flying home for Christmas. Knowing that helps make tomorrow not so bad. Besides, I'm addicted to Age of Empires III.

Snow???? Crazy! Though, you're smart to play it safe.
If I don't feel better, I may not be going to Thanksgiving. Or, maybe I'll go and just lay on mom and dad's couch and fish for sympathy there instead of laying on my own couch getting no sympathy from the cats.

I knew I wasn't the only one thinking that.
Sorry about that Kimba. Be safe.
