Posted: 03/25/03 - 16:40 Post subject: We'll just call it 2-fer-Tuesday (You won't believe it!)
I went out running at lunch as usual and right when I'm running by our office, one of the guys I work with rolls up beside me in his car and tells me that I need to come in because my son has been in a car accident.
No Way!
They didn't have any details for me at the office other than where the accident occured (very close to our house) and that no one was injured.
So again, I load up my bike in a co-worker's car and have him drive me home.
Hopped in my car and went to where the accident was and they were pretty much done with everything by the time I got there. My wife was all but my son looked like he was OK.
Looks as if my son was just driving along and some guy pulled out in front of him. My son hit this guy's van and then some other lady ran in to the side of my son's Blazer (minimal damage).
Anyway, now my son has a totalled vehicle too. The engine is all pushed up into the firewall. No air bags in my son's truck but he had to be buckled in, otherwise he'd have been eating windshield.
Well, let's hope bad things don't come in 3's.

That is unreal, PH. Glad your son is ok. That sounds like a serious accident. Tough day for the insurance companies in GA today.

State Farm was the insurer for all three cars involved in my son's accident. Sucks to be them.

Good grief! Glad everyone is okay. What the hell is it with riffraffers? Are we just destined to be dealt pain and misery on a regular basis?
