We have always liked sleigh beds. We found one we liked and ordered it yesterday. Should be here in 4-6 weeks.
Cannot wait to in our new bed.

Just hear those sleigh bells jingling,
ring ting tingling too
Come on, it's lovely weather
for a sleigh ride together with you,
Outside the snow is falling
and friends are calling "Yoo hoo,"
Come on, it's lovely weather
for a sleigh ride together with you.
Giddy yap, giddy yap, giddy yap,
let's go, Let's look at the show,
We're riding in a wonderland of snow.
Giddy yap, giddy yap, giddy yap,
it's grand, Just holding your hand,
We're gliding along with a song
of a wintry fairy land.

We'd like to get an actual bed with head- and footboards someday. We have alarge room, but it's set up kind of odd that the only place wide enough to put our bed is in front of the windows, and a headboard would cover them up halfway.

Joe, just make really really make sure your lovely new sleigh bed is not constructed of pine . Because if it is, the wood is too soft to hold the screws and after a few months of raucous coitus (that's for the less literate among us) the screws will let go and send you and your lovely wife crashing to the floor in mid, *ahem*, thrust.
This didn't happen to me, really. I just heard from a friend of a friend of a friend.......

Mrs Boiler is going to be jealous now. She wants a matching bedroom set with a headboard and everything.
