OK its stupid but... with all the serious stuff around these days why not something inane ?
The mallard duck which has been attracting attention in the city for about a month hatched her ducklings yesterday. Today, the mallard and her 11 ducklings were taken to Rock Creek Park.
The mother had been living outside the Treasury Department and was probably the only duck in history to be protected by the Secret Service. In fact, she and the ducklings were taken to Rock Creek Park via motorcade. Employees of the Treasury Department will probably miss having the mother duck around - apparently, various people gave her names like Quacks Reform and Duck Cheney.
