This is a nice, small race done at an AFB just outside of Macon, Georgia each year. I like to run the half as a training run. The full consists of two loops around the base and you can be running that second loop all by your lonesome since the number of full marathoners is around 200 or so. But they do a good job with the water and sports drink on the course as well as the food afterwards.
This year's event is Jan 10. I've seen the weather be ice storms one year and balmy 60 degrees the next, so it just depends.
