I will be running the Bronx half marathon on July 4th weekend - it's actually on Sunday the 6th with monk!
Actually, we'll both be running there, and he'll finish twice as fast as me ....

I'm thinking of running a race in Ft. Wayne. There's an issue of stink that needs to be resolved before I commit to it.

I'll be running an 8k on Friday morning in Dallas. (I hate driving to Dallas, you'd think Ft. Worth could have their own run)

I'm running in my neighborhood on the 4th. I'll make sure to wear red, white, and blue.
Good luck to both elkid and Monk on Sunday!

ok, so here is my embarrasing dilemma. After the race, we need to go to a kid's birthday party. My husband is having a fit about the possibility of me smelling bad. You'll STINK! and you'll make the car stink. And, I'm like if I change my clothes, use a body spray and reapply deoderant, stink issue resolved. or, he could just leave me in the zoo with all the other stinkies...the race is at the zoo, and the animals won't complain.

Pick up so Lever 2000 wipes. These things rock. I have used them after running and with the deoroant and spray you will be fine. Also you could just issue clothes pins to all the guesses

I'm running too.... some Freedom 5k in Greensburg or something like that. I hope this one runner isn't there this time: she always wears a Talbot's dress and tries to spray people with cologne because of "stink issues" puh-leeaase!
