I'm going to pass this time:
1) I've won the last individual, and the last 5, team events. Someone else deserves a chance.
2) Tri training = less running
3) I don't need yet another thing to obsess about
I will most enthusiastically help with the trash talking, however.

I'll pass too.....there's just too much else going on right now that's more important than obsessing over a training schedule. I get out when I can, and for now that's fine with me. I think my racing days are pretty much ovah. It's too rough on me mentally and it's not like I was fast or anything anyway. I've got the pom poms ready though!

Spring event idea.
This spring’s event will revolve around a baseball theme.
Basically, each mile walked or run will equate to a base. Every four bases equals 1 run.
The teams will have a line up for each day. If a person in the line up does not run that day, they are out. Three outs=end of an inning.
There can be up to 9 people “up to bat” each day. Each person can only bat once. So if you do two different workouts, (two a day runs) pick the one with the most points.
Each day, a total number of runs will be calculated (only whole runs, people, “left on base” do not count)
The whole idea here is to communicate amongst the team to plan your workouts properly. This also makey you more accountable if you are scheduled to run, and do not, then you cause your team to be out.
Also the line up is important. You may want to consider putting the ringers up first and those you know who are going to run/workout because they are definite points.
We are going to try to have more than 9 people per team.
Also weekends (Sat/Sun) count as one day.
I am hoping to get at least 4 teams. Duration is likely going to be 4 weeks. We will see.
A lot of this is preliminary and subject to change.
This will be run by Greg and I.
