1. Clue: YUP and still have an OLDER one that I got at the antique mall.
2. Lawndarts (we kept them at grandma's house so we couldn't play with them all the time - probably a wise decision on mom's part!) My mom thought we'd put our eyes out with them. She was right. We would have. Or given each other subdural hematomas...
3. PacMan - didn't own it but played it all the time at the video arcade Shocked Never got the hang of that game. Downright sucked at it. Now DEFENDER...
4. Operation (and I have it now for my 5-year old) NOPE
5. Bouncy ball - what the heck was that thing called??? Ummm Bouncy Ball?
6. Monopoly YES of course!
7. Hungry Hungry Hippos (own it now for 5 yr old) NOPE
8. Simon (of course!) NOPE
9. Trouble (I think we had it - or someone close to us did because I played it all the time) NOPE
10. Barbie Country Camper (my sister had it) My therapist brings this up often. "Brian, tell me why you feel like a Barbie trapped inside a camper..."
11. Slinky - TOTALLY (and have one today) UH HUH
12. Lemon Twist - loved it! Was one of my favorite toys! ??? with espresso?
13. Connect Four (still have it today...not the original one) NOPE
14. Yahtzee! YES! LOVED it
15. Merlin (when my brother came along!) Is that the red one? YUP until we took it apart...
16. Pop Rocks...although not a toy...and could KILL you when exploding inside you! Wink Yup and turned Maddy on to them last summer. Made her eat a whole bag and drink a COKE!
17. Tinker Toys I Had GIANT TINKERTOYS!!! Yup. The round pieces were like 9" across, and they had long poles. Best toy I evah had!
18. Those yellow stilts thingies NOPE
19. Holly Hobby - TOTALLY! Man, I had Holly Hobby bed sheets even! OH LORD!!! Ummm again refer to therapist comment...
20. Nerf Football (when my brother came along) MULTIPLE ones. See, once you play with it for a while, the outside coating comes off and then it's just a sponge and then it gets wet and then it STINKS! But no self-respecting fan of the Fighting Irish would play with a NERF. Get out the PIGSKIN!!!

Oh we had a HUGE train set and race cars too... soapbox derby car, bikes and roller skates.

Hmmm by my tally we did ok. Although given that we took apart almost every toy we were given, it's a surprise we got ANYthing!

Did any of you have one of these?
They were fun to look at, but you got bored easily with it.

Yeah, I was the first grandbaby on both sides as well...plus I think I'm older than you...that would account for the majority of my toys! Wink

I had several Kaleidoscopes! I loved the things...still love 'em today. I don't know if I would have liked them during my drinking days in college, though! Wink

OMG the Commode Door 64! Yup had one too... connected right to the TV. BUT no games. And no tape drive. Wait a tape drive? Uh huh, remember they had a data drive that ran off a CASSETTE tape?

We could program in BASIC but then when you turned it OFF you lost the program!

We had the C64 and tape drive. We did upgrade to the 5¼ disk drive

I used to work for QVC, and we bought the old headquarters for Commodore, in ~1994, got it for next to nothing too.... Twisted Evil

Its now the Corporate HQ and broadcast central for QVC
