Respect your elders now... by the time they're reading page 5, page 2 is a lost memory

Did you ever watch Romper Room, where they came from? That may have been before your time I think?

Ok - so let's separate the rich kids from the poor kids...
I was a poor one!
Which of these toys did you actually OWN???
Me?
1. Clue
2. Lawndarts (we kept them at grandma's house so we couldn't play with them all the time - probably a wise decision on mom's part!)
3. PacMan - didn't own it but played it all the time at the video arcade
4. Operation (and I have it now for my 5-year old)
5. Bouncy ball - what the heck was that thing called???
6. Monopoly
7. Hungry Hungry Hippos (own it now for 5 yr old)
8. Simon (of course!)
9. Trouble (I think we had it - or someone close to us did because I played it all the time)
10. Barbie Country Camper (my sister had it)
11. Slinky - TOTALLY (and have one today)
12. Lemon Twist - loved it! Was one of my favorite toys!
13. Connect Four (still have it today...not the original one)
14. Yahtzee!
15. Merlin (when my brother came along!)
16. Pop Rocks...although not a toy...and could KILL you when exploding inside you!
17. Tinker Toys
18. Those yellow stilts thingies
19. Holly Hobby - TOTALLY! Man, I had Holly Hobby bed sheets even! OH LORD!!!
20. Nerf Football (when my brother came along)
Man, I guess I wasn't such a poor kid afterall...of course, that is what happens when you are the first-born child and you have two other siblings.
