It's confusing I know but see if you can identify the following
THE SWEDE:
1 The White Carrot.
2 The bulbous yellow one with purple on top.
3 The bulbous white one with purple on top.
4 My name is Inge. I come from Sweeden.
THE PARSNIP:
1 The White Carrot
2 The bulbous yellow one with purple on top.
3 The bulbous white one with purple on top.
4 The stuff that cats get off on.
THE TURNIP:
1 The White Carrot.
2 The bulbous yellow one with purple on top.

4 Turnip the TV luv and bring me another tinnie.

Three! -- my first taste of real Hillbilly food when I migrated to Kentucky from the great Wild West of East Los Angeles. My mother's father marveled at my ignorance of the turnip and "sweet potato" and delighted in feeding me raw pieces. Anyone remember the first time they ate Space Ice Cream? That was me & Turnips.
Obviously, the soup packet was purchased by the one with the pockets or hands to carry the currency...unless the purchase was via barter...
