Contractor estimate to put in new culvert ‘out back of the west field’ $1,100
Cost done with help of Neighbor
$250 culvert pipe
$5 two tubes of black jack tar
$10 pork shoulder
$1 head of cabbage
$1 charcoal
$0 hickory and apple wood chunks (to cook pork shoulder)
$15 new shovel (to replace the one the neighbor accidentally ran over with his excavator)
$282
chowing down on pulled pork sandwiches and homemade ‘slaw after putting in culvert with neighbor
priceless

Can he drive the excavator down here. I want to dig out my drainage ditch so it is all one width so it will be easier to mow.
