Honestly, i'm not a HUGE fan of Valentines day.
Shouldn't people show their love for each other all year round and not just on one day?

Some of us DO! But we're still going to celebrate. Smile

We know for sure that we're going out for sushi -- one might not think there'd be a decent place for that here in this itty bitty midwestern town, but there is, and we love it.

I want to go see a movie too, but there isn't anything out that we can both agree on -- maybe Date Movie. We'll just have to see what the reviews indicate.

It will be a great Vday for us though. Very much looking forward to it!

that's so good to hear, Brie!

what should I get Pfffff?

Rob, you don't have to do anything. I really think V-day is boring and impersonal. Or better yet, get me beer. Mr. Green

I'm going to see Kathy Griffin standup live with a single-at-the-time-of-ticket-purchase-but-no-longer girlfriend. Should be fun just so long as no one is moping about not being with boys.

I know that!!! But I think the Mrs would like for it to be just us.

We will do that on our anniversary.

I first suggested dinner out at the local winery, which the hubby agreed to; then I decided I could better control my calories at home and just have hubby cook the gourmet feast (which he does admirably).
We're having
jerked lamb
couscous
green beans
some sort of chocolate desert for me.
A nice Petite Syrah wine with the lamb.

Now I just gotta find some lamb here in the heartland.

And I saw that Medical Staff Meeting is that evening too....I'm not attending, I'll let the Committee chairman take all the issues (I usually go as a courtesy, to help the chairman out.)
